Louie has been playing bluegrass and traditional country music for forty plus years.

Over that time, some great memories and interesting memorabilia have come his way,

and he is happy to share that with you.

Many years ago, when sorrowful news was posted, it was often done so with an envelope edged in black. This would prepare the recipient for unhappy contents.

One of Louie's favorite tunes is "Letter Edged In Black", which notes this old tradition. In August of 2016, a friend and fan of Louie's provided him with an old letter, actually edged in black, dated 1931.
